Wellness Wednesday: Detox

If you know me personally or have been following me for a while you will know how passionate I am about wellness (mind body and spirit). These past few months I can say that EVERY area has taken a beaten and I haven’t been taking care of myself as I should have been.

My anxiety was at an all time high and my adrenal glands were burnt out. I’ve done various detoxs before but this one is going to focus on healing my gut flora. The gut is where a lot of ailments can be housed such as candida, which can mirror itself into so many various sicknesses, so that’s why I decided I needed a cleanse. 

I am cleansing my system and taking a break from certain inflammatory foods and have been incorporating more anti inflammatory foods such as apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, fermented foods and more green vegetables. I will be following the candida diet that has an ebook and recipe book.  Also, I have incorporated a Healing Devotional with prayer to help me along this journey.
