Wellness Wednesday: Oil Pulling

I know many of us have heard about oil pulling and the benefits it provides. Honestly, I thought it was just a fad that people were talking about and that it wasn’t beneficial. Little did I know that squishing oil for about 15-20 mins in my mouth would help with ailments such as:

mucus buildup;

bad breath;

bleeding gums;

whitens teeth;

teeth decay.

All you have to do is get a scoop (roughly a tablespoon) of coconut oil and squish it in your mouth for about 15-20 min in the morning before you eat anything. Make sure you don’t swallow it and spit it out in the toilet after you do so you don’t clog the sink (it may solidify).
